| (2008)Jolie stars in this story about the abduction of her character's 9-year-old and police corruption in 1920's LA. Unfortunately, the story is true. Clint Eastwood does his usual great directing job and also scored the film. |
| (2008) Jolie ably portrays a seductress in this action/adventure revenge flick. Russian director Timur Bekmambetov gets his first big studio budget and spends it well. |
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt star in entertaining farce. Is she ever going to get a real role again, like Gia, or is she now just eye candy? By the way, don't confuse this with the 1941 Hitchcock comedy; it isn't a remake.
Taking Lives - DVD Director's Cut
Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke star in this dark drama. Lots of plot twists and a great sex scene.
Gia (DVD)
(1998) Tragic story of a top model who eventually died of AIDS. Incredible performance, a great film.
Girl Interrupted (DVD)
(2000) Jolie won the award, but Winona Ryder was also outstanding. Somewhat predictable but one of the best films of 2000. BUT, not as good as Nicholson's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (DVD).
Lara Croft - The Cradle of Life (DVD)
(2003) If you're a fan of the game, you'll love it. If you're a fan of Jolie, you'll also love it.
Lara Croft - Tomb Raider (DVD)
(2001) The first Lara Croft vehicle for Jolie's talents. Who else would have the boobs to pull off playing the overly-endowed Lara?
Original Sin (DVD)
(2001) Not the greatest story but worth watching because of her.
Foxfire (DVD)
(1996) A female James Dean performance in the character of Legs.
Playing by Heart (DVD)
(1999) This is an undiscovered gem. Watch it with your lady. Jolie has a supporting role in a movie that also features: Gillian Anderson, Ellen Burstyn, Sean Connerly, Gena Rowlands, Dennis Quaid, Anthony Edwards, etc.
Life or Something Like It (DVD)
(2002)Just another Hollywood romantic comedy, but at least there's someone in it worth watching.
