(2003) The idea of replacing Harrison Ford (he of course starred in earlier Clancy screen adaptations) with Ben Affleck did not make a helluva lot of sense to me. The movie bears little correlation to the book. That being said, an enjoyable action movie.

(1997) A truly great film with another incredible performance by Robin Williams. Matt Damon was also more than noteworthy; he won an Oscar for the script he co-wrote with buddy Affleck.

(1998) I recently watched this again on the Fx network. I find it to be a moving film, that works as entertainment and the psychological aspects of the character arches of the older cowboy (Bruce Willis) and young hotshot (Ben.) If you have never seen it it is worth a watch.
