Tom Clancy: The best selling author of our time

The Teeth of the Tiger
While the former President works on his memoirs, his son picks up the spook mantle in a quasi-legal non-government agency - but he's a real pain in the ass to the terrorists. (That's a joke you won't get without reading the book.)

coverRed Rabbit
I thought, "Finally a new Jack Ryan novel!" But perhaps Clancy has gone to the motherlode one time too many; in my opinion this is lead rather than gold. I found it boring and predictable. Recommended only for people like me that are addicted to the novels featuring Jack Ryan; for the rest of you, Rainbow Six and Withour Remorse are much better.

The Hunt for Red October
Red Storm Rising
The Cardinal in the Kremlin
Patriot Games
Clear and Present Danger
The Sum of All Fears
Debt of Honor
Executive Orders
Without Remorse
Rainbow Six
Adventures of an elite counter-terrorist team. No, Jack Ryan is not involved, but a good read nonetheless.
