The last time I moved, I mailed a change of address form to Carson City, and they sent me a sticker with the new address to put on my license. Easy and convenient, no problem.
Well, this time I got the form back wit a barely legible handwritten note to the effect of "no photo on file, go to DMV."
Long story short, I spent over 5 hours of my day off at the DMV getting this taken care of. (it was the first time I had 2 days off in over two weeks.) All because I MOVED!
And the government wonders why citizens give them such low marks for customer service? This is utterly stipid.
