The Matrix Movies

Maybe not totally original, but close to it. Like Star Wars and the second Terminator movies before it, brought Fx to a new standard. I am not a big Reeves fan but the rest of the cast, the screenplay and, most of all, the Fx make these must-haves for your collection.

New digital transfers of the movies, plus many bonus features.

The Matrix Revolutions (Widescreen Edition) (2003)
Documentaries, matrix time line, photo galleries, etc.

The Matrix (DVD)
(1999) Metaphysical philosophy with great action in a rare combination that makes for a great film - even if you do not like science fiction.

Matrix Reloaded (DVD)
(2003) Watch it again before the final of the trilogy is out. The rare sequel that is as good as the original.
