Magic Has the Boss still got it? Oh, hell yeah! Remember "57 Channels"? Well, "Radio Nowhere" skewers the airways like the older song did TV. The E Street Band joins him on what must be called a comeback CD, with more should-be hits than anything since "Born in the USA." Simply the great unmistakable Springsteen and his band sound. |
The Essential Bruce Springsteen
Great CD, with a little bit of everything - from "Born to Run" to a cover of "Viva Las Vegas."
The Rising
Critically acclaimed for good reason: the E-Street Band is back, and the writing is vintage Boss.
Born to Run
Born to Run- Special 3-disc 30th anniversry edition
The title song is the best rock and roll song of all time, IMHO. This album established the icon. Click the link for the anniversary edition to watch a nice video clip.
The River
Another great CD, especially the title cut.
Born in the USA
This CD probably had more top 20 singles than any other Springsteen effort, but they don't seem to have stood the test of time that well. "Born in the USA," "Glory Days," and "My Hometown" may represent the 80's as well as any popular music.

Nebraska
This haunting acoustic album did not sell well at all but I really liked it. Only Edgar Allen Poe wrote poetry this dark.
Lucky Town
Even without the E-street band, Bruce makes great music. I especially enjoyed "better Days" and "Leap of Faith."
Tunnel of Love
A very thoughtful and well-crafted CD, many of the songs were influenced by the end of his first marriage.
